Hello there, I’m Amara!
I'm an artist and production coordinator based in Los Angeles, pursuing a career in production and story for animation. I was raised surfing on the beaches of San Diego, CA, but I am also a casual figure skater, geography quizzer, and a late-night guitarist.
More than this, I have a particular love for art and the impact of a good story. I aim to write characters that are as real to audiences as old friends and create moments where someone realizes “Oh, that’s so me!”. In animation, I want to foster connection and show that we are less alone than we think.
